1. Who we are
Shotpeek (“we”, “us”) is an AI-powered service that helps people identify movies, TV shows, and anime from short video clips. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
2. Data we collect
- Clips and frames you upload. Sent to a third-party AI vision provider strictly to identify the title, then discarded. We do not retain your uploads on our servers.
- Account data (optional). If you sign in, we store your email and a unique user ID provided by our authentication provider.
- Feedback you submit. If you rate a result as correct/incorrect, we store the title, your optional notes, and a timestamp to improve accuracy.
- Basic technical data. Standard request metadata (IP, user agent) used only for abuse prevention and aggregate analytics.
3. How we use it
We use uploads only to return an identification result. Account data is used to keep your watchlist in sync. Feedback is used to monitor model accuracy. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
4. Third parties
We use a managed backend (Lovable Cloud) for authentication and storage, and an AI gateway (Lovable AI / Google Gemini) for vision analysis. Uploaded media is processed transiently by these providers under their respective terms.
5. Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account data at any time by emailing smartbusinesswoman1@gmail.com. If you are in the EEA, UK, or California you have additional rights under GDPR / CCPA, including the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
6. Children
Shotpeek is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). Do not use the service if you are under the applicable age in your region.
7. Content you upload
You are responsible for the clips you upload. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, or content that contains illegal material. We may block accounts that misuse the service.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page.
